Restore a Purchase

If you already purchased Sunlight Pro and it is not available on this device:

  • Open the app and go to the upgrade screen.
  • Tap "Restore Purchases."
  • Make sure you are signed in with the Apple ID used for the original purchase.
  • If Pro still does not appear, email us with your Apple ID email address and approximate purchase date.

Manage or Cancel a Subscription

Sunlight Pro Monthly and Sunlight Pro Yearly renew automatically unless canceled:

  • On your iPhone or iPad, open Settings and tap your name at the top.
  • Tap Subscriptions, then find Room Sunlight.
  • You can also open the App Store, tap your profile photo, and choose Subscriptions.
  • Changes take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Request a Refund

Refund requests are handled by Apple:

  • Visit reportaproblem.apple.com and sign in with your Apple ID.
  • Find your Room Sunlight purchase and request a refund.
  • Apple reviews all refund requests and makes the final decision.

AR Camera Is Not Working

If AR cannot access the camera or the scene does not align correctly:

  • Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Camera and make sure Room Sunlight is allowed.
  • Restart the app and try again on a flat, well-lit surface.
  • AR performance may vary by device model.

Location or City Issues

If your current location is not detected or appears incorrect:

  • Go to iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Location Services and set Room Sunlight to "While Using".
  • You can always skip location permission and select any city manually inside the app.
  • City-based simulation uses astronomical sun position calculations and does not require GPS.

Pro Features Not Unlocking

If you purchased Pro but features are still locked:

  • First try "Restore Purchases" on the upgrade screen.
  • Make sure your device is connected to the internet so StoreKit can verify the purchase.
  • Sign in with the same Apple ID used for the purchase.
