Acceptance of These Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using Room Sunlight (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

What the App Does

Room Sunlight is a visualization tool that helps you simulate indoor sunlight in two main ways: a 3D room simulation and an AR experience that overlays a virtual room and moving sunlight patch on your camera view. Simulations depend on the room setup, chosen location or city, date, time, device sensors, and alignment performed by the user.

Eligibility and App Store Terms

You must use the App in compliance with applicable law and any rules of the platform from which you downloaded it. If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, Apple may also have terms that apply to your download, billing, and refund rights.

Accounts

Some features require you to sign in with Apple or Google. You are responsible for activities that occur through your account and for using accurate, lawful account information.

Purchases, Subscriptions, and Restores

The App offers a free experience and three Pro options that unlock additional features, including broader location and date controls:

• Sunlight Pro Monthly — auto-renewable subscription billed monthly.
• Sunlight Pro Yearly — auto-renewable subscription billed yearly.
• Sunlight Pro Lifetime — one-time non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro permanently with no recurring charge.
• A 1-week free trial may be offered to eligible new subscribers of Sunlight Pro Monthly.
• Prices are shown at checkout and may vary by country or region. Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Purchases, restores, and refunds are handled through Apple. Refund decisions are made by Apple.

Subscription Auto-Renewal and Cancellation

Sunlight Pro Monthly and Sunlight Pro Yearly are auto-renewable subscriptions. They renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date.

• To manage or cancel your subscription, go to your Apple ID Settings or open the App Store and tap your account to view Manage Subscriptions.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
• Trial eligibility may be limited to one per Apple ID and may not be available if you previously used a trial or already have Pro access.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• use the App for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activity;
• attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or interfere with the App except where applicable law clearly permits it;
• circumvent feature gates, purchase checks, security measures, or account controls;
• upload, input, or use content in a way that infringes another person's rights.

Simulation and AR Disclaimer

The App is intended as a planning and visualization aid only. Sunlight paths, shadow shapes, AR overlays, and timing results can vary based on sensor quality, device limitations, calibration, weather assumptions, building details, and user alignment. The App is not a substitute for professional architectural, engineering, surveying, safety, or legal advice.

Intellectual Property

The App and its content, software, design, branding, and related materials are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Disclaimer of Warranties

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, data, goodwill, or business interruption arising from or related to your use of the App.

Availability, Suspension, and Termination

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the App, and we may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk for the service or other users, or were required to do so by law.

Changes to the App or Terms

We may update the App and these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we will post the updated version here. Your continued use of the App after the updated Terms take effect means you accept the revised Terms.

Consumer Rights and Governing Law

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law that applies where you live. Any governing-law provision applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law.
